Import SSL Certificate & Private Key

Apache & Other Servers

The following instructions are generally only applicable if you already have a Private Key, SSL Certificate and Intermediate CA Certificate.

Install Apache SSL Certificate

Apache SSL Certificate Installation Requirements

For an SSL Certificate to be installed and work correctly three components are required (the SSL Certificate, Private Key and any required Intermediate CA Certificates).

To view the SSL Certificate and any required Intermediate CA Certificates please access the My Account section of our website.

Install Your SSL Certificate, Private Key & CA Certificates

If your SSL Certificate is to be installed within a hosting account it should be noted that most companies will provide a hosting control panel (such as cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin) and should include an SSL installation tool allowing you to provide your SSL Certificate, Private Key and additionally any required Intermediate CA Certificates.

In the event that a control panel or SSL installation tools are not provided we recommend providing the SSL Certificate, Private Key and additionally any required Intermediate CA Certificate directly to your hosting company for installation.

If you manage your own dedicated server, obtain the SSL Certificate, Private Key and additionally any required Intermediate CA Certificates, then refer directly to your server software documentation or alternatively follow our standard installation instructions below.
